Hi! I was wondering if some of you comic collectors/dealers would mind giving me a ball park grading on this ASM 298? Please note the small (5mm) brown stain on the far right (does NOT bleed through the cover) as well as the minor spine stress. Pages are creamy white. I know it's tough to do without having your hands on the book itself, but your help would be appreciated!

what you have there is march 1988, McFarlane version of the amazing spiderman #298, it was Edited by Jim Salicrup, Scenario by David Michelinie Design by Todd McFarlane Coloring by Bob McLeod, and its rating is C.G.C 7.5 (out of ten that is) why? becasue Venom( Iddie Brock) first appread on #255.....sorry...plus your merchandise isn't really in good shape either, everything is about knowing your product and presenting it the right way, if you do that you may sell it for.....around......$456 as starting price.....you have lot of home work to do, Good luck.
