Nativity Scene? I've made it many times out of simple paper, but this year I'd like to do something more special. Any ideas or websites? Much appreciated!
Happy Holidays!

I did this one year with a Sunday School class I taught. We made the stable from Popsicle sticks (craft sticks), the cradle out of Popsicle sticks (you will have to cut small pieces). We used old fashioned type peg clothes pins to make the people with - use pipe cleaners for the arms and make fabric robes. We painted the stable and covered the roof with florist moss-add hay to stable floor. It actually turned out really cute!

Good Luck!!!!

I made one out of round rocks. If you put a cape on the figures, they look as if they are kneeling. I painted features on the faces and for the animals I painted them too. I covered a box with straw. Try a craft store like Michael's for all kinds of ideas.

Use earth, clay, real hay, and figures of people and animals...your love of creation will show up in anything you use...if you use it wisely...

try clay and paint it when its hardens...or see if any place that sells crafts has one that you can paint yourself.
