That you can do anything! Achieve any level of education, and overcome the worst obstacles if you have the heart to do so.

You also have to take Anne Sullivan's actions into account. She was incredible...she never accepted that Helen would be "disabled" or "put away" like an animal.

Both were amazing women....true ladies who broke the mold. Could there be any better examples of fine human beings?

Helen Keller fell ill at 19 months old, recovered but lost her sight and hearing. With the help of Anne Sullivan, her teacher, she learned to sign and read braille and eventually went to Radcliffe. She was the first deafblind woman to attend a school of higher education and was an inspiration to many disabled people.

She was a blind and deaf woman who promoted resources for people like her and I think she wrote some books. But I think her teacher should have recieved more credit because she must of been a really good one to teach Keller.
