Can anyone tell me what would be best to print onto DVD's. Is thermal better if not what is a good affordable machine i can use that prints coloured photo's and images directly onto DVD's.

There are quite a few Epson printer that can print directly on cd/dvd. Check out their website. The cheapest inkjet Epson printer is less than $100. In order to print on cd/dvd you'll also need cd\dvds that have a white inkjet printable surface. You don't really need thermal printer. The Epson printer print beautiful pictures and dvd labels. Some can even print directly from camera through the usb port and does not require a pc to be on.

I have an Epson R200, I had it about 12 months... It prints directly onto PRINTABLE cd's and DVD's... It is awesome..

never had any problems.. its probably outdated now, but I would go for an Epson.......................

I have just broght me an Epson R360 and it is a great printer on paper, photo paper and CD,s and DVD.s

I have an Epson Photo R300 and it does the job perfectly, and it's cheap.

I am not sure of your question,but............ but DVD recorders do not print in color, it isn't available yet. As to a recorder, I Iike my Panasonic DVR-ES15
