soo... i waxed my upper lip really quicky yesterday.. and its still a lil red. i know i didnt do it well at all =( but now its red and it looks like i have two small patches where some of the skin has come off. (eww) and it generally looks red, and a lil spotty/ horrid. its only really on the sides. the middle is fine. is there anythin i can do to reduce redness/ help skin go back to normal?? ASAP as well please.... i have work tomorro, alotho i may not go in because i truly do feel quite ill today, see what im like in the mornin.... anyway... please help =) xxxxxxxxxxx

you can use pile cream to help the regeneration of damaged skin and use savlon healing cream if you use make up to mask it,it might cause an unwanted skin infection

I know you do not want to hear this but the wax was a little too hot and it most likely pulled off the upper layer of skin. Keep neosporin or medicated blistex on it and avoid make-up for a couple days and you will be fine.

Apply some neosporin antibiotic to your lip tonight!! You will see the redness gone by morning and you will be gorgeous!!

I recommend a slower wax in future, what about shaving it though? I know there won't be much to come off but...no redness that way...

vaseline may help since it promotes healinng but make up may be the only sure-fire cure for the redness right now.

Oh dear..you poor sweetie pie. Cold water compress..leave on overnight if you can manage. Kissy.... kissy, it will be fine tomorrow. Kermit did his last night and his was red but it's okay now.

once i started reading about waxing upper lips it sounded interesting, but that skin coming off just turned me off.

i wouldn't do that sorta delicate waxing at home. legs and underarms yes but anywhere else let the professional do it. try ice and coll stuff.
