I don't think she's that kind and sweet, as she has made some rather pointed, tart comments.
Influence over hubby? Not as much as Karl Rove has

No I do not believe that Laura Bush is any of those things. She just is really good at PR and photo opportunities to have this perception placed upon her. I doubt she has influence over the President seeing as she knows less about politics and government then he does.

I think she is very classy,compared to Hillary Clinton, who wouldn't be., I don't think she or anyone else has any influence over Bush except in the drinking dept.

She is probably one of the most classy first lady's that this nation has ever had. I'm sure she does have some sort of influence over her husband, as all wives do.

She certainly comes across that way. Maybe that perception is magnified by comparison to her immediate predecessor. I'm sure she is an influence on George.
