I've had no problems with mine, and my other half has no problems with hers, and two other family members have also had no trouble.

If it does crash, you may only have to download and install the update patch which should fix it.

If you could provide your computers specifications it would really help. Sims isnt typically a demanding game in the way of computing power, but i could tell you how it would run if you could share some basic details like processor type/speed, amount of RAM. Those are the basics, the more you provide the better

No it wont it is a fairly stable game.
