ok hello people, ima bit slow on technology, and i was wondering can a linksys etherfast dsl/cable router model nm. befsr41 connect my laptop wirelessly? as in the modem and router being in the living room and my in my room and i can use my own internet instead of others? thanks, andif you have any info plz let me know. or im or email me. thanks

nope (that model isn't a WiFi router), you need a WiFi router like this

No, that router in specific can not, however you can purchase a "Wireless Access Point" which will give your network the ability to do wireless, while keeping the router you have now. However the access point costs more than a new router, so I'd suggest a new router like everybody else.

If so then no, it can't handle wireless, you'd need to buy an actual wireless router as a replacement.

The router will only connect wirelessly if it is a wireless router.
(They also have ethernet ports).
If it is wireless it can be done(configured).
You will get your access to the internet if the the router is set to allow you or you have the access key.
