The USA used to pay him to attack the Russians in Arab countries.
Well once they were gone there was no reason to pay him anymore.
Just like a monkey if you stop giving them what they want they get mad at you.
So why not use what the CIA taught him to terrorize the rest of the world, in hopes of getting money from us.
It's extortion that's all.

religious differences probably, that or money
