it was domestic violence, even if motivated by revenge... do you really want your inability to stay faithful to be analyzed?

This is a true story. Dec. 14, 2000, Newlywed bank supervisor through an unfortunate set of circumstances, got a testicle bitten off during a boozy argument. Doctors later said he might well have died had he not been so drunk.
Last week, Neil and his new wife, Shelley, attended a party for their wedding thrown by Neil's co-worker Carr. When the women returned the scenario unfolded something like this: In the midst of the yelling, Neil suddenly attacked his new bride. Carr attempted to intervene and defend her fellow female. Carr found herself lying on the floor, with Neil sitting on top of her, and did what any woman in her predicament might do: She bit him in the crotch.
The testicle was severed from Hutchinson's groin and ended up on the floor under a picture frame, where police discovered it shortly thereafter. Hutchinson was escorted out of the apartment and rushed to a hospital for surgery, leaving behind his distraught wife and two very shocked friends.
Carr were both charged with wounding. As for Neil, after four days of surgery in two hospitals, doctors were unable to reattach his testicle. And his bride has filed for divorce.
So make your mind sue and get your 15 minutes of fame too.

Its criminal assault to deliberately injure someone but proving it was other than an accident would be hard and embarrassing. Probably best just hanging the animal out to dry in a divorce court. (you may have cheated and I don't agree with that but I am so anti violance and such an attack is evil). Hope the clitoris has healled and works properly again!

Probably not because he could probably claim temporary mental disease or defect - after all you did have an affair!!! To those who say you should sue him for injury, he can sue YOU for having the affair and probably take YOU to the cleaners. Did you tell him while he was going down on you? You need to learn much better timing!

Yes, you probably could win such a lawsuit - but do you REALLY want all the adverse publicity you'll be subject to? My suggestion would be to let the police know of the assault, and then drop it. Hubby was certainly out of line. Men sometimes do stupid things when hurt like he must've been hurt when he found out about your extramarital fun and frolic. Your best bet? Don't contest the divorce, move on, and be a bit more careful next time you go out to play.

In the words of Chris Rock, "I can't say what he did was right, but I understand". Maybe you should let him have the divorce you put on him and let go. Do you really have the nerve to go into court and sue someone for biting you because you are a lying cheat?
Call me for jury. I vote you might have had it coming.

Consider yourself blessed, he only bit it hard. He could of killed you. Rage, takes on a whole different game when betrayal is involved. You have a dry case, but you have a outlet to a free life.

wow. that's interesting. i dont think you have a chance in hell to win a case over that. your husband can easily fight that with any legitimate excuse.
wouldnt you have bitten him down there if you found out he cheated on you?
