Rule of thumb: When multiplying integers, you have to be wary of their sign (i.e. positive or negative). Two negative numbers multiplied together yield a positive, and if one number is negative while the other is positive, the answer will yield a negative.

3 -(-2) + (-7)(-2)-(-3)-2 = 20

Remember that a minus sign outside of brackets will change the sign too. In the first, case, two negative symbols will make a positive.

3 + 2 + (-7)(-2) - (-3) - 2

Look at the (-7) and (-2); signs are both negative, therefore their product is positive.

3 + 2 + 14 - (-3) - 2

Now, notice that there's another double minus at -(-3). Two negatives make a positive, so now we get

3 + 2 + 14 + 3 - 2

Now, work left to right and add/subtract normally.

5 + 14 + 3 - 2
19 + 3 - 2
22 - 2
20

All you have to do is keep in mind the steps to work on problems like this, with the above being a guideline.

This is called the order of operations.
Do the following operations in order from left to right
Things in paranteses
Exponents or powers
Multiply and Divide (dividing is multiplying by a fraction)
Add and subtract (subtracting is the same as adding a negative number)
You may have heard "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally".
The first letter of each word stands for something
P parantheses
E exponents
M multiply
D divide
A add
S subtract

So with your example:
P: there are no problems inside the parentheses
E: There are no exponents
M & D: -7*-2=14
the problem is now: 3-(-2)+14-(-3)-2
A & S: 3-(-2) = 5
14-(-3)=17
The problem is now: 5+17-2
5+17=22
22-2=20
The answer is 20

Hope this helps and good luck with math

Well you always multiply before you add or subtract so,
-7 * -2 = 14

so you end up with:
3-(-2)+14-(-3)-2 = 20

Two negative signs makes a positive so 3-(-2) is actually 3+2
So:

3+2+14+3-2=20
5+14+3-2=20
19+3-2=20
22-2=20
20=20

Do multiplication first.

3 - (-2) + 14 - (-3) - 2

To subtract a negative number, change the sign and add:

3 + 2 + 14 + 3 - 2
22 - 2 = 20
