Sine is negative in the third quadrant.

sin (225) = -sin (45)

Jose is correct, fizixx is wrong.

Sin (225)
225 - 180 = 45

So: Sin (225) = Sin (45) = ~ -0.707

Sin; 0-180 degrees (+)
180-360 (-)

Same as sin(45).....1/Sqrt(2)
