Most are not accredited which means not only can you not get financial aid but if you choose to go to an "offline" school..they won't accept your courses you have already taken and passed..if you do get an online degree some places still will not hire you with it.

No teacher to immediately answer a question. Have to send an email or ask classmates during weekly "chat" time.

If you're not self disciplined and on the ball, then it's very easy to get lazy and get behind. There's no "teacher in your face" to motivate you.
