he is probably terrified, which is why he is squeeking. You HAVE to wash off the floor cleaner whether he fights or not. then towel him dry gently and watch him for a few hours. most floor cleaner is poison.

Call the Poison Control Center 1-800-222-1222. This is for humans, but maybe they can give you the # for the Animal Poison Control Center.
Have the bottle of cleaner with you so you can tell them the ingredients.

If you cannot get him to the vets, call one of the pet emergency rooms and ask for their assistance ASAP (as soon as possible). If it has been poisoned by the cleaner (which sounds like it may have), it could mean the matter between life and death.

If you cannot find a 24-7 pet ER, find the nearest veterinarian school. They have 24-7 pet ERs.

We had a guinea pig that had cheese in her body, but it relates to the same thing- getting rid of something in the body. What we did was we gave her orange juice, this did help for 3 days, and then we took her to the vet. The bad thing is that she had other things wrong with her, thats why she died, but atleast try the orange juice, and if it works, good, if it doesnt, TAKE THE ANIMAL TO THE VEt

the stuff is irretating his skin ,and water will only spread it further more easily
masses of water may do the trick ,maybe the vet knows of a better way to clean him ,go and find out.

Keep him comfortable and warm, try and give him fluids and get his bedding so he has a familiar smell.
