being a girl, i'd have to say...it depends on what kind of girl she is.
If she's a typical girl, give her a teddy bear, earings, and a box of chocolate or balloon. When you're walking home, cut a rose from the neighbor's front garden. Do you have a xtra dollar? But a cute gift bag to put all that in.
Now if she's a rock n roll diva...i suggest a funky necklace or bag and a gift card to a music store or something. =D

If your friend likes candy.. I'd say go to the grocery store and buy bulk smarties or something like that.. put them in a cleaned out spaghetti jar and paint on the jar or add a ribbon or someting to dress it up. Makes a nice pick me up gift. Another thing you can do is go to a craft store and buy a mirror and a couple of paint pens and make a "memory mirror" Write stuff on the mirror that applies to memories you share together. Draw funny pics, etc.. The mirrors sometimes have magnets on the back and can be used in a locker or on the fridge.. etc..

buy her one single long stem rose if you like her. this isnt a big gift but the more heart you put into it, the more she will like the present.. more doesnt always mean better its the thought and effort you put into it that shows that you really care for her

my sugguestion is to go to the dollar store, sometimes they have cute stuff for cheap, a stuffed animal she really likes or some lotion.
