Tylenol and a good bottle of your favorite alcohol!
Seriously:
1 CD of great Holiday tunes, 1 CD of your favorite non-holiday tunes for those days that the radio is ONLY playing christmas crap and you can't begin to be jolly!
Ear plugs: works great for the family get togethers (or do what my dad does and pretend to be asleep!) and earplugs work great to drown out the Ringing bells at EVERY store!
A list of people and gift ideas...mark off as you get each person's gift so you don't overbuy
A BUDGET... can't seem to personally follow this one...so if you can't a really high spending limit on a credit card!
Patience....again can't seem to personally find this, BUT
If you have kids...ALWAYS carry a camera! Never know what mall will have that really great Santa!
Good will towards others...people forget this too often, especially the day after Thanksgiving...what's with the pushing people?!
Spiritual Peace: Take the time to get to a church, place of worship, somewhere...another thing people forget about when they get all caught up in the commercialization of this season
Merry Christmas!

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. The inflation, unemployment and falling value of dollar are the main concern for our Government but authorities are just sleeping, they don’t want to face the fact. Media is also involve in it, they are force to stop showing the real economic situation to the people. I start getting more concern about my future as well as my family after watching the response of our Government for the people that affected by hurricane Katrina.

According to recent studies made by World Bank, the coming crisis will be far worse than initially predicted. So if you're already preparing for the crisis (or haven't started yet) make sure you watch this video at http://www.familysurvival.tv and discover the 4 BIG issues you'll have to deal with when the crisis hits, and how to solve them fast (before the disaster strikes your town!) without spending $1,000s on overrated items and useless survival books.

Hrm…there are hundreds of things I could put into a holiday survival kit, but even if I did, there would always be something else that’s needed. For many of us in the United States, Thanksgiving kick starts the holiday season off with tons of food, tons of family, and tons of stress. We fight off shoppers the day after Thanksgiving as we desperately try to get those gifts of goodwill for those on our lists, and we are certainly not afraid to attack any who stand in our way of a good bargain. Tis the season, lol. After this, we have the stampede of many different holidays for many different traditions: Kwanza, Christmas, and Hanukah are the first to pop into my head. Finally, we have New Years celebrations to finish the year and holiday season off.

With all these holidays, I think the best thing to have for a Holiday Survival Kit would be something to keep your mind grounded. The Kit would need something that was a calming reminder of what we’re celebrating. The holidays: no matter whom you are, no matter where you’re from, or what religion you are…the holidays are meant to show good will to each other, and to be with your families. The Kit would need to contain something to remind you to show patience and kindness to other shoppers in the mall, to weird Uncle Frank, and of course to screaming children.

This little something could be a picture, a personal item, even a nip of whiskey….whatever calms you and allows you the chance to take a moment to relax and just enjoy the holidays instead of dread them!!! =)

A flask of whiskey to help you relax when the sress is getting you down, a credit card with no limit, comfortable shoes for all the walking and running around you do, ice cream for when you get down, an iPod, and a never ending glass of Star Bucks Gingerbread coffee.

We can all wish can't we?!
