So how many still have faith in the judgement of Rex Grossman ? If you still think we should use a regular season game as a practice , why not go with Orton who has proven he'll do as he's told . As for the rest of you who will say " Well we won today " , well you could put the bears defence on any team in the league , and they would have a winning record . So don't even bring it up .
Go Bears . From a fan for life .

Rex made Brad Johnson look good today. The Bears need to take a hint from Minnesota, Denver, Dallas, Tennessee, and Arizona. Time to dump Grossman and go with the backup or they will pay the price in January when the games really count.

He's been terrible lately, but he played great at the beginning of the year, so it's not as if he isn't capable of playing at that level.

And believe me, as a Purdue alum, I'd like nothing better than to see Orton quarterbacking this team, but he absolutely cannot make the same types of throws Grossman can at this stage of his career. Like it or not, Rex is the guy who's gotten the Bears this far and he's going to be the guy who determines how far they go in the playoffs. They can win the Super Bowl with him at quarterback. They may not do it this year, but there's no better option on the roster right now.

I am a die hard bears fan, since birth. Season ticket holder for the last couple of years. Its great to see the Bears be a good team in the NFC. I agree with you that Rex needs to go, at least sit out a couple of games to think about what he needs to do. Today against the Vikings was pretty much his last chance to turn it around and he hasn't. Its time to give Greese his chance to show why he needs to be in there. Glad they captured the title today though! DA BEARS!
