i click "run" and it downloads but doesn't install. the ison popped up and i clocked on it but it always says "extracting files" and then it just stops and turns off. am i doing anything wrong? why won't it install? should i call the company?

Just a few questions to better help solver your problem, what version of Windows do you have (XP, 98, Vista...), what version of Norton (06, 07...) and do you have any antivirus currently installed?

norton will not install on a system that has viruses just one of its many problems just download free avg it works better and wont slow your pc down http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/lng/us/tpl/v5#avg-anti-virus-free
