I am looking for a manual for an Imperial sewing machine, Model 919, Serial Number 01753 purchased at an Eatons store about 30 years ago. This could possibly be a Viking brand since this is what Eaton's used to sell. Eaton's stores no longer exist.

There is a lot of information available on the internet. A Yahoo search for "imperial sewing machines" (include the quotation marks in the Yahoo search box) yields 74 results. If you do the same search, and are willing to spend a little time exploring, I'm sure that you will quickly the information you seek. In the event you do not find it, try searching for "vintage sewing machines". Several of the sites on the first couple of pages of results have reader forums where you can post questions to sewing machine experts and enthusiasts.
