most people i know are always whinging about the footballers being overpriced and all that. they know who is the most expensive and the most expensive and the different positions that but no one seems to know who is the cheapest player is. can someone shade some light on this matter.

like the last guy said..youth team costs nothing..but transfered players...kevin doyle cost reading 50 gs..considering he has scored 7 times this year, thats not bad..

If you mean what a team payed for a player then the answer is of course Kevin Doyle of reading who cost Reading only £80,000 when they bought him from Cork City not bad for someone who is the top scorer in the premiership
