One of the 1st things I did was subscribe to a self-esteem newsletter. Google self-esteem and you will find some websites. Then I started saving specific quotes that fit me into a separate draft - and I read those whenever I'm having a bad day. May seem hokey and way too simple but it helps to read affirmative information over and over. One quote I especially like is "no one can make you feel bad about yourself unless you let them. Ultimately the power is within you." You have to hold your head up and believe that you are an individual with special attributes - perhaps not to every one - but who cares? One of my friends told me to just say to myself "I don't care. Its all about me." He said that works just for now - its not a permanent thing - but just for now until you get healed emotionally and spiritually. Good luck. Its kind of a long haul but one day at a time, and next week you'll be ahead of this one.

Perhaps a high priority would be to stop finding all the negatives you create in your mind.. then find something a bit more constructive to direct your thoughts toward. Try volunteering for some organization or nursing home.. You will get many appreciative gesstures and constructive things by dealing with others.. Is a great confidence builder.

Think about all the good things you have in your life. Think about what you DO like about yourself and focus on that, rather on the things you don't like. As for the things you don't like, try and find a way to improve on them if possible. Otherwise just know that the things you are worrying about probably aren't as big as you think they are right now. Look at things from an outside perspective. Whatever you are lacking confidence about, is it really going to make a difference in your life in the long run? Probably not... Just look at how lucky you are to have a life and that things are always changing. So embrace change and just try to be happy with who you are!

You were created with a purpose and a destiny!! You are loved by Your Creator and made for fellowship with Him! and He only wants the very best for you. It's the enemy that comes to kill, steal and destroy. Don't listen to the negatives you hear or rehearse over in your mind, they are only lies to keep you down.
Remember you are loved, you are unique and you are special!! There is no one else just like you. You were created with a purpose that ONLY YOU can fulfill.
When you start thinking the negative thoughts - stop them dead in their tracks! Say No - that's not true! I can do everything I put my mind to. I am loved just the way I am, my creator even knows the number of hairs on my head. If it matters to me it matters to HIM. He is always there, He never leaves me and He cares for me!!
Hope this helps!! Remember He is your hope and He really does care for you. You are always on His mind. Don't ever believe otherwise.

Do things that you do best, try things that you don't and get better.
Focus on the ups and not the downs,
and never,
ever,
put up with people's crap.
Take care of yourself. When you treat yourself like you're worth it, you feel it. And others ee it, and then they treat you like it, and then they believe it.
And that feels good.

help others and always have confidence in yourself (but not too much)
always take care of yourself, because no one is going to care for you. respect yourself, and don't take worry about people that mess with you. just be yourself.

to be around good strong loving people when you are growing up who like you and tell you that
other than that, you have to just start liking things about yourself, and get other people to tell you good things about yourself, only counts from good honest people who are not trying to get into your pants when they say them.
