With a hi. If I'm familiar with the person, hi and a kiss on the cheek. And with my friends, always a hug and a kiss.

Always with a smile, then if I get a pleasant look back I say "Hello my name is_____"Then I proceed to hand shake. Now Howey Mandel would probally have a problem with a hand shake but that is a strange Phobia, not a lot of people have that fear of touching!I feel very genuine Introducing myself and hand shaking and I appreciate those who approach me first doing the same. Not many people beat me to the draw.Good Luck in your quest for meeting new people .Happy Holidays!

"Hey, what's up?" If there my friend, if their an acquaintance, "Hello, how are you?" If it's a stranger, "Good morning, good afternoon, or good evening." Or just plain "Hello." Usually I only shake their hand if they extend theirs first. High five? Once again, only if they put their hand out.

It depends on how well I know the person. If I don't know them to well,I usually just say hello, but if I know the person well,I usually say hows it going or how's the form,or how's the craic.
