The beauty of the rock cycle states that in the right set of circumstances, any rock can become any other kind of rock.

Metamorphic Rock can be weathered into sediments and become a Sedimentary Rock.

Or it can be melted into magma and cool to become an Igneous Rock...

Or it can undergo further Metamorphism.

It can become "metamorphic" if it is spelled right. ;)

Metamorphic rock can be broken down by mechanical or physical weathering to become sediments. When these sediments are transported by erosion and deposited, they can be compacted and cemented into sedimentary rock.

Also, metamorphic rock can be subjected to more heat and pressure and become another metamorphic rock.
Ex. shale to slate
