The 7600GT is faster. It uses DDR3 memory as opposed to DDR2 on the GS. A faster clock speed is the only difference between the GT and the GS. See the Source URL that I've attached to read a more descriptive article about this. good luck.

The 7600GT and 7600GS have the same chipsets, just one of them is turned up faster. Think of it like a car. Two cars, the same cars, but one of them can go to 60MPH and one can go to 100MPH. In 3dMark, a program used to measure the speeds of graphics cards, there is a point system. The 7600GS scored a 690, and the 7600GT scored a 1032. i personally love my new geforce 7600 gs oc the features are nice but i cann't tell you the differance of the two, got mine with a rebate for $30 so look around and make sure before you buy, it made the 6100 series that i was running look like a joke
