we have 250, six-hundred pound men, riding in a bus traveling at 200 miles per hour, if there is a large plate of sausage on the bus, and these large men charge the plate of sausage, thus pissing off the bus driver and making him stop the bus for 10 minutes to clean up the sausage, what is the average speed of this bus over a 100 miles course figuring the driver immediately speeds back up to the 200 mile per hour speed????

I'll tell you what..if you are actually able to fit that many 600lb men on one bus..and additionally find space for a plate of sausage i will be very surprised...but what the heck..I'll play your game..

It would take the driver a 1/2 hour to complete the one hundred miles obviously..if he didn't stop..the fact that he stopped for ten minutes means it takes him longer...so it's fourty minutes all told..as his net speed over the ten minutes is zero we have to figure out the average like this...

average speed = distance/time
average speed = 100 miles/40 minutes
average speed = 2.5 miles per minute
2.5 miles per minute x 60 minutes = 150mph

Oh, and by the way..can I get photographic proof of this rather un-natural phenomena?
