How about personalized stationary. You can get cheap blank note cards, download a picture from clip art or something like that and then print it on the note cards. Everyone loves gifts like this.

I love getting homemade gifts, especially FOOD gifts! How about making sugar cookies, and cut them out in the shapes of guitars, lighthouses, and owls? If you can't draw these freehand (I can't!), it would be easy to download pictures off the internet to use as patterns. Just do a little decoration on the cookies with icing, sugar sprinkles, etc. If you have enough $$, you can buy cheap baskets, line with a cloth napkin, add a coffee cup, and your cookies. If the coffee cup is too pricey, how about a nicely scented votive candle, they are fairly inexpensive. Anything homemade is always appreciated. Good luck!

So to a local crafts fair and see if you can buy a nice photograph of a guitar. Make a wonderful picture frame for it.
It's probably not going to be tough to make a little lighthouse lamp or night light. If you look on the Internet, probably you'll only find a kit (for a bundle), that will produce something tacky. I think you'll be able to make something cute. You can probably take one of those battery operated luminaries that people stick in their windows over the holidays and make a nice lighthouse lamp from it .
Do you have a local store/studio that caters to crafts people and children, where you can come and make stuff for a charge. We have a local store where you can paint t-shirts, boxes and make fused glass dishes. It's really easy. They give you the glass, and pieces, which you can also cut and break into smaller pieces. Then they fuse it for you and fire it again to fit into a form to make a bowl, dish or hanging glass ornament. They are really nice. It would be easy to do this for any of the 3 items you mentioned.

I'm making coasters. Buy a roll of cork. Download pictures that would interest each person.
Glue them on a 4X4 piece of cork, and cover with a clear craft finish.
I'm making quilts for my mom's and they're beautiful, Noah's Ark for one family member, and stained glass windows for another member.
The roll of cork is $5-6, and can be found in the automotive section.

You could get inexpensive plain cover hardbound journal books, and do a collage on the cover for each according to their theme.
