In fact i have :) It was a pair of 14k gold earrings and the person who got them was very happy, so it was well worth it. Plus they got use out of them when I never would. I think that'll be the first and last time tho...it seems less thoughtful.

Yes, but it's a fine art remembering who gave you the gift in the first place so that you don't give it back to them.

We had a pretty embarassing moment at Thanksgiving this year when my father-in-law's girlfriend looks at one of the paintings on our wall and says "hey, I brought that back from Hawaii for him!!! How did you get it?" He looked very sheepish. I guess the fact that the artist had dedicated it "Aloha to Jerry" was a bit of a dead give away!

Sure. Yankee candles. I love candles and get a LOT of candles, so I always have some back that are still new in their boxes. When I need a quick gift, I'm quite likely to go to my 'Yankee candle stash'. They smell GREAT, make great gifts, are not cheap, and save me a trip to the store!

Every year. It is the fun-est thing I've ever done. It's called a White Elephant Party and we do it every year at the company Holiday Party. It's hysterical!!
