My biggest failure has been not making the most of every opportunity. I've wasted so much time and energy on petty things, being selfish. As a result, all I can do is attempt to use every minute of every day the best that I can.
While being my greatest failure, it also serves as my greatest encouragement, because I know I need to do better.

My biggest failure was when I use to look back at past events that could not be altered and therefore have no effect on today.
I do not do that anymore, so todays biggest failure was I got my shoe wet while watering a plant. That has to be the biggest failure of my life this day, cause today is the only day any of us really have.

I haven't really had a failure, just not completely satisfied with some events. 1. I wish I would have worked harder in High School. 2. I wish I had gone to College after HS. 3. I wish I had achieved a higher rank prior to retirement from the Army. 4. I wish I could really make a difference in the terrorist threat. (but I ain't dead yet :-)

I don't know if there are any failures in us, as long as there is life.
The process is trial and error after all, and as long as we breathe, wake to new days, our "ledger" is always something to put back, in the "black" again.
You might try considering what you define as "failure" more along the lines of "Setbacks" and hopefully a lesson of sorts in what not to do next time, as you attempt moving forward again.
My favorite Angel sums it up pretty well too. "Let the Universe take care of the details."

Not being able to step outside the limits of my mind to go beyond, see and fulfill where I should be.
Life's limitations, time restraints and human nature.
