I got an email the other day and I usually ignore things like this, but for some reason I read it and I was wondering if anyone else had heard of it or knew of a site where I can search to see if it's just an urban legend, which is probably what it is. In the email it said basically that someone will approach you in a parking lot and ask you what type of cologne or perfume you are wearing. They will then tell you they are selling name brand like scents at very low prices and you can sniff their sample card to find the one you like. Well, according to this email, it's not perfume, some kind of inhaled substance that will knock you out and then while you are passed out the people will take your money or whatever else, use your imagination. Anyone heard of this? It sounds like an old urban legend, but who knows.

no, but i have heard of this scam...

Well, the crooks have found a way to rob you of your gift card balance. If you buy Gift Cards from a display rack that has various store cards you may become a victim of theft. Crooks are now jotting down the card numbers in the store and then wait a few days and call to see how much of a balance THEY have on the card. Once they find the card is activated, and then they go online and start shopping. You may want to purchase your card from a customer service person, where they do not have the Gift Cards viewable to the public.

and i've heard of some other crazy scams about women, tickets and rape/robbery, so i wouldnt think it too crazy of an idea..
