Its not completely true, ususaly the mother dominates b/c she is caring hte shild, but the fathers genes can dominate. Here is an example, When my b/f was born he was born with red hair, his grandparents on his fathers side has red hair. another example, my firneds baby came out with blue eyes, her mother has brown and so does dad but moms mother has blue eyes. so it all depends on who dominates more.

Blue eyes are by way of a recessive gene, if one parent has brown eyes, then their infants are lots extra probable to have bown eyes. yet, you inherit one eye coloration out of your mom and one out of your father, who additionally inherited one coloration out of your grandmother and one out of your grandfather, the checklist is going on, with the intention to answr your question, particular, 2 ble eyed mothers and fathers could have a brown eyed newborn. i understand 2 brown eyed mothers and fathers who've a blue eyed newborn, and a grey eyed mom and foreheadeyed father with a green eyed newborn, so no longer something's impossible! in case you have that litle little bit of brown around the scholars, then this is only a small version in the gene exceeded on, and not by way of a brown eyed gene inherited out of your mothers and fathers. possibilities are high, a parent, grandparent, even super grandparent might have had the comparable version and this is lain recessive till it cropped up in you!
