I was an adult and had wanted an acoustic guitar desperately and was pretty sure my husband might buy me one. Well, he didn't, but my Dad thought he'd be funny and get me a child's toy guitar. I was so surprised and actually humiliated. My Dad thought that was so funny and I did my best to smile but I tell you what, it's a miracle that I was able to hold the tears till I got into the bathroom. I truly was embarrassed. I know it's petty but nevertheless, that's how it was.

Hahaha, the year my grandma gave me a box... I was so excited, I looked at the box and, trying to be nice, was like, "Wow, two Christmas presents in one!! The box is pretty too!" and then I opened the box to find there was nothing in it... lol.
