I have a new slightly sheer wrap around top which looks nice with a cream bra underneath but it shows the top frilly part of the bra. It looks quite pretty but do you think this might be a bit too tarty?

I'm going to wear it with a pencil skirt (below the knee) and no the top doesn't show off my stomach!

It depends on how its worn - if its subtle and same colour then it can look pretty. But - with no disrepect - if you're a bit of a chunk and have got the top of your bra showing with half your lungs hanging out - then that is tarty and basically the look of a trollop xxxx

I think it can be cute, as long as the bra is a decent one & the colours "go" with what you're wearing, which by the sounds of things it does.
Its saucy & racy rather than tarty, why not go for it!?

Why the frig worry about the nonsense titles other people put on women, be free wear what you damn well want and don't be bullied or keel into what other people's opinions of what is right or wrong to wear. It's only tarty if you're wearing it with a mini skirt.
If you're wearing it with jeans/trousers it'll look really stylish.

Yep it's tarty but it does have 1 benefit - if you wait on a busy road you could get a lift home :)
