There is always that risk of anyone stealing your advice. First, do not reveal your ideas. Just talk generically about what and how. When you start submitting ideas, send a copy of the plans, etc to yourself via certified mail. When you receive and sign for the mail, do NOT open it. Then if someone steals your idea, you have proof that it was your idea and when you submitted first.
