Christmas is so secular now, it's almost possible to celibrate it.

Don't you get presents at Ramadan?

But I guess, Jesus is a revered profit in the Koran, so go for it.

Of course it's OK. Jesus is a respected prophet of God in Islam and celebrating his birth is perfectly wonderful. I wish all religions would celebrate each other's celebrations. The world would unite in such a wonderful way. Keep celebrating and giving and receiving presents. Life's too short to be uptight!! ;o)

heyy..im muslim too, and honestly, though some may not want to admit it, some muslim parents usually allow their kids to celebrate christmas when they are young because itd be too complicated to explain why they dont celebrate.

alot of muslims get presents for their non-muslim friends..i guess its all in intention. youd be celebrating the commercialized version of christmas..i dont really see any harm in it, but just try not to go all out or anything because again, theres a reason why we, as muslims, have decided not to celebrate the holiday.

=)

It's not the getting or giving of gifts, It's the the celebration of Christ's birth, if anything you should be giving to a needy child.

Why not. If you want to. I don't think most of the people celebrating Christmas in this country are really Christians.

If you have to ask a question like that then you are not that religious. You should know your religion and if you say your a muslim then you should know what it means. That is what is wrong with religions today. People say that they are Catholic, Jehovah's Witnesses and all other types but don't really know about themselves or what they actually need to belive.
