ok ihave been a mechanic for over thirty years, if you are sure there are no bolts left on the cover you will need to take a thin bladed pry tool, screwdriver, prybry, something like these will work, the silicone iis dry and most likley the cover has never been removed, now carefully pry in several areas on the cover and this will free it up, also clean the surface really well before putting it back together.

Be exteermely certain there are no bolts left. They can easily be hidden by dirt. There are dowels which locate the cover, if you atr 110% positive there are no bolts left, carefully pry the cover off from the top down, trying not to damage the mating surfaces.
