for those of you to young to remember there wasn't automatic promotion from the confrence a few years back teams were re elected to the league.

Hartlepool United they have finished bottom of the league more times than any other club in the English football league

It was Hartlepool, altihough they never actually went down as wasn't auto promotion/relagation at the time.
