I am stressed out a little and he is calm. Does do this for me?? Is he stressed a little bit on the inside?? I am 19 and recently lost my friend. She died and child birth and her b/f ditched her a week b4, so I didn't want to have a kid right now but my fiancee convinced me to keep it. We are rich(my parents and his both have a ton of money and gave us alot when they heard about the engagement and again when they heard bout the baby. We don't owe anything on our house.) I am just worried that something will go wrong.
Is he secretly scared/wondering how everything will turn out, but being strong for me??
I have asked him but he says he is okay with it all. He also knows I'm worried tho. Is that why he's soooooo calm?

men keep things to them selves.. he could be secretly scared but will not show it cuz you are scared your self. HE doesn't want to worry you. there are always the "What ifs" relax and enjoy your pregnancy!!! your stressing can cause the baby to stress..
*Congrats*

I know this cuz when i deliver my last 2 kids hubby was a wreck in the delivery room cuz there were small problems.. but he did not show it till weeks later.. when i had calmed down my self..

I'd say he's nervous and scared too. He may just be less openly emotional about it. I'm sure he doesn't want to stress you and the baby out (especially early) so he's not telling you. He could also have a hard time believing it's real, or worried you'll miscarry if it's before 12 weeks, maybe he doesn't want to get excited too soon.

My husband didn't get excited until he went to the doctor with me and heard the heartbeat. Then his face lit up. Then he got excited again during the 20 week ultrasound, and the best was when he finally felt the baby kick.

It's different for guys then girls, it's harder to believe there's really a baby coming so early for them I think.

Congrats and good luck!

I agree that he might be secertly scared....it would be normal because having a child is huge but that doesn't mean that he doesn't want this and you. He is probably calm for dozens of reason...loving you and wanting a family with you is probably big on that list..and you be worried is natural. With my first son it was the same situation..it was unplanned and it scared the crap out of me but my man was all calm and I found out it was simply because he figured hey we got pregnant so we were meant to have a family..he was scared a little about becoming a father but was more happy than scared so that is what shown through. could be the same with your bf. he sounds like an awesome guy. talk to him and let him reassure you. sorry about your friend but what happpend to her isn't what happens to everyone. just remember to be happy and if you can't reach out to those who can help. good luck

consistent with possibility he only isn't irritating. only in view which you're would not advise he would desire to be. Be happy by way of fact of lot of youthful women the two get ditched or taken care of poorly while they tell their boyfriends/fiances they're pregnant. i'm effective you're extra irritating by way of fact of your acquaintances however the probabilities of that happeneing to you as nicely are narrow i'm effective. attempt to chill out. the rigidity shouldn't help you or the toddler. only be happy you have a guy on your existence who's supportive and not freaking out approximately an unpredicted being pregnant.

He loves you and he will love your baby. He is partially staying calm for your sake. Men HATE seeing their fiancees/girlfriends/wives worry, so they counteract it by being too damn calm!

Don't you worry, though. What happened to your friend is VERY rare in this day and age. Also, it sounds like you have a great support system behind you. Just focus on having a healthy pregnancy and a great life.

Good luck!

Men have been trained not to show negative emotions, such as pain, sadness, etc. Maybe he is upset but unable to show it.

Getting a woman pregnant has also been a sign of being a "man" so perhaps he is happy about the whole thing.

Sure, he does not want you to be so worried so there has to be someone that keeps their head and stays calm. Men do not show their feelings as much as women do. Accept it and know he is just as worried as you are but just is not going to let y ou know.

They don't? Funny....mine passed out. I thought that meant he was pretty stressed.

Seriously though, men are really good at holding things inside......usually. lol
