Ok, when you drop a raw egg into plain water-it sinks.
When you drop a raw egg into salt water-it floats because it is more dense.
When you drop a raw egg into water with baking soda added-it sinks. Why?
Thanks in advance! :-)

You have to deal with density on this problem.

A raw egg has a greater density than plain water, therefore, it sinks.

A raw egg has less density than salt water, therefore, it floats.

A raw egg has greater density than baking soda, therefore, it sinks.

Just remember that a substance with the greater density will be lower in a container than one with lesser density.
