i'm kinda speechless
that is an awesome laptop!
fit for anything
including gaming
very good for gaming cuz the 512mb geforce 7600 Go
and the 2gbs of RAM
the Core 2 Duo 1.66Ghz procesor isn't the best, but definatly good enough for anything out there

the 7600 is pretty good
it is in between the performance of the 6800 GT and the 7800 GT
which is gaming grade
though the technology is better than both
so it will be fit for any game existing at this moment
maybe with only a little lag

Very good laptop specs. The Nvidia 7600 is fine for the laptop. It's a lot better than the Intel built-in graphic chip. The CPU speed is a liitle slow but that's not bad at all. You may want to check out the Gateway at Best buy. it's very similiar to HP with a few minor difference. It has a faster proceesor, bigger HD but it use an intel graphic chip---cost around $1400. In term of graphic, the Gateway machine is very fast but not very good for gaming. HP is a better machine. If you want the best gaming machine and have enough money, i would suggest check out the Dell XPS or Inspiron line.

That should do just about anything you want it to...well...not quite but it's nice. The processor is fine, the graphics are almost overkill, plenty of RAM, HD should be fine as long as you don't have massive amounts of music or movies. I payed $1700 for my laptop a little over a year ago and you built one twice as powerful for $200 less. Compared to prices a year ago, you got an amazing deal. I'm running a 1.86Ghz Centrino, 1GB DDR, 80GB 5400RPM, 128MB ATI Mobililty Radeon X700, DVD R/RW DL, w/ 17" Ultrabright.

Have fun with that....if i only waited another year....

allow me preface with the aid of retaining that i'm a qualified Dell and HP Reseller. I absolutely haven't to any extent further something adversarial to Macs in any respect. actually, i'm fantastically inspired with the aid of the present Macbooks. in case you opt for the Microsoft operating gadget, the Dell Vostro computer has been my modern-day p.c.. for suited fee for lowend laptops. for my section, you're comparing apples to oranges. they don't study to at least one yet another as they both have different advantages. My specialist opinion: Macbooks - reliable (outfitted on Unix platform), good classes, effortless, extra inflexible criteria, extra efficient video modifying potential, potential to run XP very nearly (utilising application). Dell Vostro - Comes with XP or Vista, versatile with application, lots of hardware thoughts, a lot less intense priced. i advise you seek for suggestion from including your instructors first and ask what they are going to be utilising. finally, you'll locate a lot less subject matters in case you whichever platform they're utilising.

This Laptop is cool but the price is too high. Try looking at other companys for better prices. $1533 is too much just for what your getting.
