I don't want to be a fat, embarassing mom for my child.(I don't mean it in a superficial way. My friend was teased cuz of how her mom looked and I don't want my child to have to face that) My fiancee is gaining more weight than me so far. Will I lose it eventually and retone my body??
My mom weighed less than I do now after she had my brother. But we were also born premature(2.5month-me, 1month-him)
Why is it he is craving snacks and im not really hungry??
Does he have cravings because he nervous?? Do I not because of the whole morning sickness thing??

In the begining if you get sick you may loose weight, but monitor how much you eat. Eat healthy, but you still want to gain at least a healthy 25 pounds. After brith you can go back to excercising. Walk everyday while pregnant. You can still do excersises, just nothing too strenuous. and its normal for the partner to gain weight, and have the cravings. its called sympathy symptoms. My fater used to get sick when my mom was pregnant with my sister. it was funny. good luck though.

With my first child I started at 103 lbs. when I had her I was 198 lbs. I lost the weight, I have since had 3 more children and gained between 50 -70 lbs with each one, but always lost the weight, I now weigh 110 lbs. So even if you gain a lot of weight you can lose it. Some women have a different build so it is harder for them to lose the weight. As far as your husband having cravings that is normal A lot of expecting dad's have them And not all women do.

I'm getting ready to have my first baby any day now so let me see if i can help. I have only gained 15lbs during the whole thing. I'm not very active either nor do i watch what i eat. my baby is exactly 6lbs. Every woman is different and so is every pregnancy. If you gain weight don't sweat it. You can surly get rid of it after the baby, as active as you are. O.k your man having cravings and gaining more weight mine did the same. He even gets my pain sometimes. i hope everything goes healthy in your pregnancy.that is what really matters.

Fathers to be can have hormone swings and problems parallel to the mother to be. I think it's super if he's gaining the weight now! You will lose the weight you gain, especially if you breastfeed. That's the best for you and the baby. Make sure you get plenty of Omega 3 fatty acids < fish oil and/or flax oil> for baby's brain development, and your best health.
