Awesome you’re 13! I’m 14!
Eyeshadows!
Colors: Light blue and green
Play into the power of green.Try out neutral or pale eyeshadows in a similar shade, and apply across the entire lid.
Colors: Taupe, Light green, blue, brown, or apricot.
Go for sweet shades of green or blue, or taupe for a supernatural approach. Sweet the color across the entire lid, and apply a bit of brown in the crease.

Almond shaped or ‘Asian Eyes’ are the ones with little or no natural crease in the lid.

Goal : To create contrast between eye, lid and brow bone.

Technique: Line upper and lower lids, keeping line close to lashes. Use a light shade of eye shadow from your lashes to the brow, a medium shade on your lid, and a darker shade on the outer third of your eyelid. Apply mascara generously to upper and lower lashes.

Wear warm colors like camel, peach, golden yellow and golden brown. Avoid dark, dull colors. For these colors will accent your gorgeous eyes, and make your skin glow!

Get your fave celeb look
Think you have trouble getting dressed?
Just imagine what it's like to be a super-hot teen celeb with photographers catching your every look!
Some famous girls handle the style pressure better than others.
Here are my top choices for teen fashionistas:

Fabulous Five
1. Amanda Bynes
Fresh, yet sleek, her style always looks just right.
Originally of Nickelodeon's "All That," Amanda has definitely grown up, but she's very good about dressing her age. She sticks to classic colors and simple silhouettes, made funky with hip accessories.
Spotted: Wearing a little black dress trimmed in classy Burberry print.
See her in: Reruns of "The Amanda Show" or her movie "What a Girl Wants."

2.Lindsay Lohan
Though she's appeared in advertisements of several preppy labels (Gap and Calvin Klein), Lindsay's personal style tends to have a punk spin: studded belts, tough boots, smoky eyes, andlots of black.
Spotted: Sporting an uber-trendy Von Dutch trucker hat.
See her in: "Freaky Friday" rocking the punk look; "Get a Clue" in all-out trendy duds; and "Parent Trap" in preppy threads (including an RL oxford)

3. Hilary Duff
Ranked as the #10 best-dressed actress, Hilary is definitely stylin'.
Her style is trendy, bright, and eye-catching, yet still somehow wholesome. No revealing clothing for her: mid-length minis or cargos are her items of choice, which she often pairs with a simple tee or tank.
Spotted: Donning Marc Jacobs cropped pants, Hilary showed how fashion savvy she is.
See her in: Reruns of the Disney show "Lizzie Maguire" or "The Lizzie Maguire Movie."

4. & 5. MK&A
As well-known for their impeccable style as they are for their acting, Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen are trendsetters in every sense of the word.
Though they have their own clothing line for sale at Wal-Mart, their personal styles are both creative and original (and definitely designer-driven).
Spotted: What haven't they been spotted in? Chanel, Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler, andtons of designer bags.
See them in: Reruns of "Full House" and "Two of a Kind," plus their videos ("Passport to Paris," "Holiday in the Sun," etc.)

Noteworthy
Mandy Moore - The perfect balance of sophisticated and trendy, Mandy always manages to look fabulous, whether she's wearing a Chanel gown or Seven jeans.

Brittany Snow - Though you don't see her around a lot, this girl has talent and serious fashion potential. She's in the works for her own My Tee line: be sure to keep you eyes open for it.

Mischa Barton - Watching "The O.C." is like reading a fashion mag. But without Mischa, the show would be a failure: she's a total style icon. She has the perfect California Girl-style.

Easy ways for teens to season-proof wardrobes
As seasons and trends change, you may be compelled to start from scratch with your wardrobe.
But why waste the time and money when you already have everything there?
Learn howdevelop a wardrobe that goes from winter to summer in a snap: with only a few new pieces here and there.

Basics, basics, basics
A wardrobe without the basics is like a worst dressed list without Britney Spears. There is no way around it: basics are a must.
Here are key points to remember about basics:
The key is that they must be not only seasonless, but also trendless.
Choose a flattering fit cut close to the body, but avoid anything tight. A tacky fit defeats the purpose of classy basics.
And remember: basics do not equal boring. You can build a completely fresh wardrobe made solely of classics, as long as you keep the colors, fit, and cut updated.
Re-organize
First, you need to know which clothes in your wardrobe are seasonless and which are season-specific.
Identify your transition pieces by making a list, organizing by color of hanger, or grouping them together.
This way, you can easily find what your closet is missing.
What to own
A quick checklist of crucial year-round clothing includes:
White oxford (with rolled up sleeves, it's summer-wearable)
Solid shortsleeve tees and tanks
Khaki twill trousers
Denim jacket
Perfect jeans
Refresh old favorites
Just because winter's clearly over doesn't mean you need to banish all of your cold-weather clothing to storage (yet).
By wearing the shell from last season's sweater set alone with a little mini or pairing your khaki trousers with a hip halter, you can create an entirely new look.
Creativity is important when it comes to creating new ensembles with what you already own.
Accessorize
Update a simple ensemble with seasonal accessories.
Accessories are the perfect way to add an individual touch to classics to make them not-so-basic.
Add touches of pink to an all-black outfit to brighten up the look
Wear a funky pair of espadrilles with your favorite jeans
Grab a cute bamboo-handled handbag instead of your basic purse
Other ideas: throw on a surfer-girl puka-shell necklace, a beach bag-esque straw purse, or the ultimate summer accessory - flipflops -with any ensemb to make the style summer-ready.

I hope its helpful!

Cool your 13 same here i have been wearing makeup sence i was ten but my mom taught me, the easy way is to ask your parents to make an appointment with someone at sephora. Most of the people there recomend Bare Minerals, thats what i use, yeah it is expensive but it doesn't clog your pores and they have rare minerals so it help stop acne-scaring will your sleeping, but i use there makeup and anything else i already have like very light eyeshadow, mascara, and lipgloss thats all i wear. I mix my own eyeshadow with stuff i have bought and my mom. Its an easy way how to find your shade. Foundation/ concealer is a lil harder, this is why i said go get a makeover at sephora because they do your make up there naturally. And in the bareminerals starter kit they have somthing called warmth which gives you a glow, but to much might make you look orange. Your eyes dont really matter when its comes to make up maybe the eyeshadow nothing else.
Hope The Link Helps

I'm 13 too!.. alot of older people are saying we shouldnt wear anything! I dont belive them. Older people say that im very mature for my age. All we need is bronzer, well you said you need it because your skin if pal..me too lol. You can get it from channel.. i personally dont like mac's bronzer because it has alot powder..its just all messy. Tan or brown eye-shadows are very adorable..mac has very pretty ones. Mascara also we can use, uhm there is really good ones at dior. Almond shaped eyes are very pretty but eyeliner would have to look very think and alittle smudged. I hope that helped you! Good Luck!:)

Wow, My skin is fair and I have almond shaped bue eyes! And I started wearing makeup when I was about 13 also. I don't regret doing that, it gave me time to experiment with the different kind of makeup. But please, just keep it simple. Don't overdo it, just a little bit of makeup can go a long way. Makeup was made to enhance your natural beauty, not make you look like a clown.

Concealer:
I like Estee Lauder, it comes with lots of different shades to match almost anyone's skin tone and it doesn't irritate my skin. I like the Lucidity one, it has spf 8, and it's thick. I only use it to cover up blemishes, to use it all over my face would be wasting money (it's kinda expensive) and it's too thick of a foundation anyway.
I also reccomend a govergirl powder. You can wear that over your concealer to add just a little coverage but it doesn't look like you're wearing makeup.

Eyeshadow:
I would not reccomend eyeshadow for everyday use. For one, even if you use just a little, it pretty easy for people to see. But if you're going out at night or going to a dance or just feel like dressing up a little one day, I would reccomend a blend of light blue and light green.

Eyeliner:
I would reccomend liquid eyeliner, it's easier to apply and lasts longer. Eyeliner is tricky, you don't want to use too much and make you look like you have a black eye, but you want your eyes to stand out. I say that you should wear eyeliner on your eyelids, but no eyelier underneath your eye. When your outline your eye all the way it makes your eyes look small - the oppisite of what you're aiming to do, especially if you have almond shaped eyes. Also, I would reccomend a brown eyeshadow, black looks too punk and unnatural.

Mascara:
Just like eyeliner, don't use black mascara. Dark brown mascara is the best. I like waterproof mascara, but it's hard to get off, so you might just want to stick to regular mascara. Make sure to open your eyes really big when applying mascara. And if you want, you can apply mascara to both upper and lower lashes (the lashes under your eyes).
Tip: mascara clumps less if your eyelashes are ever so slightly damp.

Lipstick/Lipgloss:
Bright red lipstick only looks good on celebrities, my advice is to stick to a light pink lipstick. Apply a clear gloss over your lipstick to look shiny. Or you can skip lipstick and just wear a tinted lip gloss. It depends on what you want.
Tip: For long lasting, put on regular chapstick (I like Burt's Bees), lipstick, and then a clear gloss. It takes longer to get through the layers, especially if you're eating or drinking.

Hope I helped!

start with knowing it is extremely important to take care of what you should think of as "a beautiful complextion"..., also mousturizer is also very important, and by applying foundation is not always a good idea with such young skin, BUT.. if you insist, you should use a very light shade, and if you use eyeliner always use a light brown, and a combination shadow of some light shades of green, and some pale highlighting color, (beige, white, or even a lighter shade of green) light pink blush and shiney "no color" lip gloss !!! you are already beautiful, so dont wear too much that may allow you to age way too fast !!

if you want coverage, try a tinted moisturizer. it's a double plus to keep your skin healthy during the winter months, as well as good in the summer because most have an SPF. i use covergirl smoothers.

i love maybelline GreatLash mascara.

BonBons has lip glosses and eyeshadows for $.88 each at wal-mart. they're great for young, new-to-makeup girls.

that should be all you need. remember to keep it light in application.

Why wear make-up at such an early age ? You most likely look good enough as is. Enjoy your youth...do not try to grow up too fast.
