i would definitely not have a problem dating a black LADY. i find them to be beautiful, appealing, and sensuous. as a white man i would not feel any shame for dating a black woman. i'd feel thrilled to be doing so.

I agree with you. Black women are truly beautiful, and they do have it harder in this country. Wite men do think black women are beautiful. But I think every race, deep down, has acertain instinct and feels a certain responsibilty , built Into their genes, to stay with their own race. with few exceptions. I see black women and I think, wow! But some type of genetic guide, seems to lead me back to white women. On the ohter hand, the only people I see practicing white supremacy, are black men. Im not talking about all but a large % seem to look at white women as supreme. Of course they wont tell you. I noticed on tv theyve chosen sexiest man . well I want say exactly what but you get the message. But alot of the winners were black guys. who do you think were voting. White women of course. Mabe youve noticed It In some commercials. There Is a silent communication going on. Some people are letting a kinky modern trend get In the way of genetic Impulses.

Speaking for myself, absolutely not. Every woman in my family is black. Most of what I am today is due to their influence. I hate speaking in generalizations, but if they are representative of the larger group then there is ABSOLUTELY nothing to be ashamed of.
I can see your issue. My only disagreement with your statement is the "only race with a distinct...". That's not true at all. Every race has a distinct style of hair and features. When you can look at someone and can differentiate that's typically how you do it. But that doesn't mean yours isn't unique or worthy of praise.
Here's the cold, hard truth, which you already seem to know. Are there black men that are ashamed to date black women? Unfortunately, yes. That "it's just a personal preference" thing you've probably heard... total garbage. A lot of it is self-loathing, a tragic inferiority complex triggered by any number of things. As a people, our features are typically defined as "coarse"...often no harm meant, but not exactly the most flattering term, is it.
Our hair is "kinky", our skin and eyes are often "dark", our noses and lips are often "big" or "broad", and our bodies are often not naturally rail "thin". Nothing really "pretty" about the description at all. The connotations are the same for our men and women. I've heard every bit of it described as a bad thing in the form of "yo mama" joke (yo mama so dark...yo mama's hair is so nappy...). It seems as though "attractive" is the often defined as the opposite of what most of us are...which is why you hear stupid people talking about somebody having "good hair" or being "high yellow" or having "light, brown eyes". For a black man, having a white/hispanic/asian woman (girlfriend, wife) could be something exotic. Or a personal "sign" they've risen above the hood or their own blackness (for all the sense that makes).
On top of that, the way the media potrayal of black women...not flattering. You come off as unneccesarilly combatative, rude, not very ladylike. In my mind right now, I'm getting an image of some woman on Jerry Springer with gold teeth and 6 baby's daddies yelling at the one brother with the good job (at Blockbuster). If I turned on my TV right now, I bet I could find that same woman on a news channel or sitcom in less than 5 minutes. You're the only women I know portrayed that way. Hispanic women get a similar representation but it's more "firey latin attitude" (less "loudmouthed hoodrat")
I'm glad you see a problem and know it's not yours. There are few things sadder than seeing a black woman "ruin" her natural appearance with a ridiculous blonde dye job or blue contact lenses. I'm not saying that every black man with a white/hispanic/asian girlfriend has a personal problem (you fall for who you fall for. Sometimes it happens that way), but I'm sure a number of them do. As a group, black women are beautiful. There's absolutely no doubt about it.

You question hits right home with me. 2 years ago I was turned down by this black guy I liked because he said I was too dark and he liked light skinned girls. Then I meet this great guy who I love very much and the same Black guy is calling me a sell-out because my boyfriend is Latino. And no my man is not ashamed of me, he shows me off and is a very public person. He says I'm beautiful and he love my skin the way it is. Great question I can relate.

Man are all dogs who cares about outer beauty it matters
whats on the inside.we live in society that's rule by whites
also blacks naturally don't have white or European features.also black men thinks that they want a girl
who don't have "nappy"or "kinky" hair.also man from
other races view black women as a attitude problem
not as a "lady".which i think is very rude.
By the way "Black is Beauty,For now and ever more".

Don't worry sweetheart, today I saw a white man proudly holding his Black girlfriend's hand. They looked very happy. It's slow, but it's happening.
