I am sorry for you loss. Allow yourself to grieve. Thee aren't time limits on grief and even a long ago death is not something you "just get over" and move beyond. Perhaps you can do something special to honor her memory like give a gift to an 18 month old in her name through an agency in your area that serves those in need. You could make a memory wreath or a special ornament for your tree. You could light a candle for her or write her a letter or write a message on a balloon and let it go on the anniversary.
If you are experiencing major depression or feel like harming yourself, please seek professional help.

volunteer! Go to a nursing home and play games with old people. Let them talk about the good old days. Some of them never see their families.
I lost a baby two years ago. I still cry.

Try volunteering to lift your spirits. You may also want to check with local churches and see if they have grief groups or "Blue Christmas" services for those who have lost people close to them. Best wishes.
