You can, but it'll be slower than death.

Run a phone cord from one modem to the other, turn off "Check for dial-tone" and dial some random number. After dialing, go to the other PC and take it off-hook. ATH1

ok first each newborn has heard of the human centipede a super style of say that they have watched it while they have been given freaked by employing the trailer. this isn't any longer ideal for a newborn of 10 this is an 18 for a reason. And it could impact your newborn's psychological wellbeing state and progression extra effective than you would be able to think of. i would not propose all and sundry watch it no longer to show a ten year previous

if your looking to dial up into and taske control then i would suggest vnc a good starter for something like this. If there next to each other then try cross over cable, a usb netwrok cable. if its a one time thing just to migrate the data you could try mp3 player, usb stick, dvd or cd.

Why would you want to?
If it can take a usb wireless adapter you're sorted.
If not, and you just want to transfer some big files, send them to your hotmail address - which also makes a good archive btw.
