I am researching Britan in the 1910s and was wondering if food differs any from Britan or America today.

among the spices were mustard seed, tarrogon, salt, pepper, basil, sage, oregano, thyme, sage, onion, ginger, nutmeg, cinnimon,etc.,
They had a blend of many teas.
Most of their culinary comes from Montipellier, France starting from around 1850.
They had beef from cow as well, and Lamb was eaten as well and they made Irish stew eventually with the Lamb and the beef combo, with a brown sauce. And learning from the French to stew their meats instead of on a spigot (roast or BBQ), France was known and still known for their excellent blend of sauce especially for the pheasant and fowl in general.

We had Aunt Jemima pancake mix in 1910
Jello was also invented. shrimp cokctails and canned tuna were also int he diet, bnut were 'created' a few years before. This is info on the u.s couldn't find much for Britain.

I would guess that in brittian, and even more back then, there would be a big diffrence in diets of people of different classes. Be sure to specifiy the aristocracy, or the common people.
