Honestly, what offends me most is that people against abortion are often the same people who oppose national health care (even for just children) and things like better funding for higher education. So, they support outlawing abortions because every child has the right to "life", but they won't support making sure that those same children once born, don't suffer horribly from a lack of medical care? Trust me, plenty of children in the United States suffer in agony every day--and risk uneccesary death or permanent disability--because their parents cannot afford to give them proper medical care. Those who support "life" must support ensuring people have lives *worth* living. Otherwise, they're hypocrites, plains and simple.

I know some of you are only going by what you are told, but I am sorry, but this is the truth that you can find this is true with 2 minutes of searching.

Did you know that it was a Republican Supreme Court Justice who wrote the opinion for Roe Vs Wade, yes it is true, Did you also know who the CHIEF Supreme court Justice was at the time. yes a Republican also, who agreed with it and pushed the issue.

Did you know the Mrs Bush said on national TV (The Today Show) that she did not think the Roe VS Wade should be over turned.

Did you know that as of right now, The Republicans control the Supreme Court by a Margin of 7-2, (Republicans have appointed 7 of 9) The Republicans have control the House and Senate, they could easily overturn Roe Vs Wade, but did not, have not, will not.

All I am telling you are facts, you can look up Roe VS Wade in any web encyclopedia and it will tell you the same thing, or look up (Mrs Bush Today Show Abortion) and you will see that that is true also.
The whole Roe VS Wade was about whether the Government could force a woman to do what they thought was best with her body, that's it. If you don't think Republican woman get just as many abortions as Democratic woman, you need to look up those stats also

There are so many gray areas politicians twist around, all politicians, just some more than others.

I am not even taking sides on this post, just makes me wonder when I hear, the liberal are killing babies stuff, from people who dont read

Offended, no. These people are fanatics without pragmatic ethcis. They don't care what works. They don't think for themselves. They FEEL a whole lot of things, but they don't THINK up solutions.
That would be too hard.
Quote a book, a figurehead, whatever, and don't put any grey matter into it.
Nice. Easy. Comfortable.
What if they took all their frustration on the great questions of life on the great questions of life, and not other people?
They'd actually be loving their neighbors.
Not the unborn, perhaps, but the actual neighbors!

Yes sort of. They feel they have the right to tell others what to do with their life and the life of their unborn, but I don't see them coming up with any other type of solution. For me myself, I could never do it, but if someone else feels it is right for them so be it. I would hope people would stop being so irresponsible and take measures to stop unwanted pregnancies and then their would be no need for abortions. Come on people educate yourselves and your children. I couldn't believe the myths teenage girls still believed in these days while talking to some of my daughters friends, needless to say all but one so far has at least one child now, but I am still grandma free.

You're missing the point. Stop having unwanted children. You shouldn't kill them and you shouldn't expect someone else to raise them. Be responsible for yourself and your actions.
