I'm kinda split between the first and the third one. The first because it was just well done and the third because I liked the idea of using the pterosaurs, which wasn't featured in the first two films. The dinosaurs in the third film also changed slightly in the light of new scientific research at the time, e.g the raptors were patterned (although they now believe they were feathered). So for that reason I think that the third film. The phone in the dinosaur was quite funny too!!!

The first, because it was so well done. I didn't like Dr.Grant in the third one, mainly because he somehow was able to understand the raptors' sounds and gestures without really taking any time studying them and how they interacted. And to do that can take months or even years. So I didn't think that was very realistic, and it was kinda corny. I kept thinking he must really be some kind of "bird brain" to understand them!

The first, of course. It was by far the best, plot-wise. The second was only good in that I love Ian Malcolm. The third, we were making fun of it the whole time, so it was fun but not for the reason it wanted to be.

The original! It mixed beautiful cinematography with stunning new special effects. Further it was a blockbuster that brought moral debate into an a fast-moving, intense adventure.
The others were dumb blockbusters that entertained, but didn't raise the bar nor satisfy any intellectual appetite.

I would definitely say the first one. Sam Neill wasn't even in the second one. And after that, it just seemed to be too many. How many islands have dinosaurs still on them, you know?

As in most movies, in my opinion, it always the first movie that is the best. You have greater shock value. I just think they put more of a story line into the 1st movie.
