I'm thinking of going and wonder how much of an advantage a masters has over a bachelors.

I'm sure it depends on the field you are inand whether your current employer will pay you more for it. I got mine in education and it's good for about an extra $150 a month. ( I know that isnt much, but hey, I'm a teacher) But when you factor that over my lifetime, plus increases for credits beyond the Masters I guess it was worth it.

That said, I think the biggest factor is if you really want to study something more in depth. I have a BA in history and the subject is fascinating to me. I have considered getting a Master's in history as well. I wont get paid a cent for it, but it will be interesting to do and may open up other job opportunities for me in the future.

Hope this helps.

Doubled my income in less than 6 years ($62 - $130+). Grad school was an enabler; necessary but not sufficient.

It'll look better on your CV and you'll definitely earn more money.
