Neither. I think Apathy leads the list.

The Universe is founded on positive, neutral and negative energy forces. From these quantum forces, positive and neutral forces form nuclei and the negative force becomes electrons that orbit around the nucleus. That's what makes atoms, the building blocks of everything inside the Universe, including us humans and our emotions, which love and hate are but a part of. There has to be a balance of the two polarities in order for atoms to exist. There has to be atoms for everything in the Universe to exist. Be happy that hate exists because without it love would not stand a chance. Best to understand and manage your own home grown hate and be a good example for others to follow. The best way that I have found to manage my own negative energy is to express it in artistic ways such as oil painting and sculpture or playing a musical instrument or pool and chess. There are many ways of releasing negative energy by doing many creative things around the house. Ever notice that the happiest people in the world know how to keep busy? That's because they are transmutting their negative hate energy into positive creative energy. Enjoy life by reading and learning new things.

Love and hate are two concepts which I question the existence of. The only love I know is what I feel for my children yet this may be a hard wired emotion designed to make me protect them. I can honestly say that I do not hate anyone, not even my enemies, because I feel they are as they are for reasons outside of their control. So to answer your question, neither of those things are real so neither of those things can be more abundant than the other.

I think there is more love in the world. Even though people may say that they hate someone, it's not considered hate all the time. I say I hate people but I don't. Now I dislike people but hate and dislike are two different things.

Well, there's something wrong with thinking of these things in terms of quantities -- like we're talking about physical stuff that could be put in measuring cups.
But since almost everyone loves (even those who also hate), and only some hate, and since more people spend their time loving, rather than hating, I'd say you're wrong; there's more love.
Think of all the time people spend being loving toward their loved ones, and thinking about their loved ones -- that's a lot; not to mention all the things people do out of love, like go to work, cook, tuck in their children, etc.
Not to mention the millions of people who work out of generalized love -- love of humanity, and such.
Haters tend to be more vocal, louder, and more public with their hate -- so you notice it more.
That doesn't mean there's more of it.
Feel better now?

Oh way more love, the media just loves hate. That's why you see so much of it.
