I've read in order to make eyes look larger use black eyeliner on the upper lid only. When you use it on the upper and lower lid it makes eyes look smaller. Plus mascara generally just looks good, but I'm not exactly sure if it does anything for size.

you dont need eyeliner- your so pritty- if I looked like you I woulndnt want anything on my face- save a smile!!
But in answer to your question, yes it does, if you want little little tiny eyes, wear it on the inner rim of the bottom lash line (not advised though many people go with this look and look strange as it is generally unflattering and just looks like you couldnt be bothered to clean off your eye makeup from the night before!!)
If you want the sixties look go for a fat line along the top lashes, thickening out at the end of the lash line, then long lashes on the top lashes, literally drag /sweep the mascara brush straight across the lower lashes just to pickup afew.
But if you are just after the casual day look, only wear a thin eyeliner line along your top lashes- if at all, then use the mascara brush to sweep the top ends of your top lashes, just to give you eyes a bit of oomph and to appear more natural.
You can jazz up any of these (either of these!) looks up with a brightly coloured eyeliner, of apply the liner while et, then sprinkle a little glittery dust over.
But remember, apply mascara LAST, eyeliner FIRST
Good luck hon, - if you ever decide to wear mekup- which I dont think you need to, let me know so I can exit the bar/club- thers already enogh competition!! ha ha!!

Both black eye liner and black mascara look great. I like the look of thick eye lashes/makes them look fuller. The eye liner should be thin, that also makes the lashes look thick. With mascara on the bottom lid too. Just a thought! Look through magazines, and you see lots of ex. Good luck!!

Dark liner with loads of mascara, a defined line that extends out a little further than your eye to a neat point. Also if you really want a lot of volume you could do more than one application of mascara, using a clean mascara brush to get rid of those annoying lumps!

To make ur eyes look bigger, wear a black liquid eyeliner along ur top lashes. Then a black eye liner on the lower lashes, but not on the inner rim of ur eye as this will make them look smaller. Then use eyelash curlers before appliying 2 coats of black mascara.

well i liner makes the eye look smaller. to make your eyes look bigger try less liner. But for the mascara make sure your lashes are clean (no yesterdays or earlier todays make up still on there) and gently go a cross your lashes twice! that is it ! Good luck hope it works

Eyeliner and mascara defiantly go together. with the shape of your eyes, you may wanna try volumizing and thick, only put eyeliner on the bottom if you want your eyelashes to look longer.

IF you do the cat eye look, it'll look brill. It'll add length to the eyes & shape it more. Mascara can be applied heavily to the upper lashes. But liquid is better for a more defined shape, eyeliner in kohl pencil can create a smudged, smokey look. Depends on if you want sharp & alert or smokey & sexy.

Personally i think eye liner can be very harsh on alot of people, and makes them look very overdone! Ive rarely seen it applied well, when applied by makeup artisists it can look good on someone with the right hair colour, skin tone and with the right complimenting makeup, but when most girls put it on themselves i cringe. Id really advise against it can so easily be soooooo common and tarty! and this is coming from a lover of makeup who wont leave the house without it, not someone who doesnt wear any.
